Dulaang Kaymutiara
As part of the Dulaang Kayumtiara play production, I was assigned to work under the team Creatives as I was tasked to illustrate playbill and poster (covers) for our designated play "ALPAS". I specifically use the softwares Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro and Canva when making the illustrations.
1. 3 Official Poster drafts
As a poster illustrator, I was assigned to make 3 concepts for the ALPAS official posters.

3. Adding details
As soon as I finished sketching and coloring, I began adding effects and the lightings.

2. Drawing the ALPAS Official Poster
After making the concepts, I went to working with the actual poster using the software Sktechbook pro.
I used the traditional hard pencil for the sketching, and a textured brush for coloring.

4. Finalizing the psoter
For the finishing touches, I added the cast member's names and the CIIT logo.

My Accomplishment and Reflections
During my time with the team, I took great pride in my contributions to designing poster covers that effectively captures the significance of our team's main ideas. By collaborating and working together, I was able to share my creativity and visual ideas to the team, ensuring that visuals were not only striking but also aligned with our goals.
This experience not only helped me in improving my creative skills in graphic designing and in illustration, but also the opportunity in enhancing my communication and collaboration skills. Throughout the process, I slowly began to recognize and observe the importance of how maintaining time management matters for our work and my well-being, as well as to deal with our workloads even when distressing moments occur. As a student, I am glad to have experience this, as this can benefit me in my upcoming job immersion and jobs that I may apply in the future.
In connections with my work to the overall play production, I'm sincerely thrilled that I supported the play with the help of my artistic ideas for the playbill and poster covers because it allowed me to contribute something I consider impactful to me.
